After listening to Meg Griffin tonight, it's clear that Disorder is going away after today. I find that hard to believe, since that's one of the purely original, wonderful places on satellite radio. I'm very sad. Therefore, it appears that both services will have identical music channels.
So here's a summary of the Sirius channels going away. Tune in now (for the next three hours) to say goodbye:
Movin EZ
Disorder
Backspin
Strobe
Boombox
I believe the other Sirius music channels, or the XM equivalent, will remain. Is that the summary?
But, looking on the bright side, here is the list I can determine of XM channels that will be added:
40s on 4
90s on 9
Willie's Place (I'm not familiar with how this is different from Roadhouse)
Village (Folk music - I'm very excited to hear folk again on my sat rad)
20 on 20
Enlighten (Southern Gospel)
Loft (Acoustic Rock)
Cinemagic (movie soundtrack)
So although I'm losing perhaps my number one favorite channel (will Vin Scelsa find a new home? Please?), I will focus on the positives (40s, Willie, Village).
Did I miss anything?
