I've been happy with my Note 4. At 6'-4", the larger handset fits me very nicely. I thought it might be a bit cumbersome, but it really hasn't. I'd really miss the screen real estate if I went smaller.
Yeah, there are plenty of reasons a larger phone is more desirable, although at 5'-8" I don't need a plus-sized phone to fit my build (however, I do have basketball-palming large hands). My main thing is pocketability - I don't carry a briefcase or "man bag" with me, nor do I use a belt clip. I just wish they still offered a range of sizes in flagship phones; nowadays it's either L, XL, or XXL. I'm more of an M.

I go nerd and use the belt clip.
I get nervous that I'll scratch or Fark up a phone in my pocket. That and I hate the pocket bulge. I've got enough of that to deal with already.....

I wore a belt clip holster when I had a Blackberry. That's how I lost one in the HydroSlide water coaster at the rodeo.

My recent phones have been slim enough that I don't mind them in my pocket, and I don't keep anything in there but chewing gum, so nothing can scratch them. Sometimes I stick my phone in my briefcase.

When I'm out and about, I have my wallet (I recently found a really nice slim wallet, called the Allett), my key ring (car key, Gerber multi-tool, micro-usb flash drive, RSA secure ID), cigar tube (to keep/ extinguish/ relight a cigar), lighter, and phone. If I wear cargo shorts, I've got every pocket filled-up. In jacket weather (more than half the year up here) it's not an issue. But in the summer, I really should have a bag or backpack, but I don't want to drag one around. Women get to have a handbag, it's easy for them.

Wanted to share bad luck and crappy customer service with an S6 bought at Best Buy for a T-mobile phone. The family has a Nexus 5, Galaxy S3 and S6. The 5 and 3 are two and three years old and work great. Saw the 32GB S6 was 585 after a mover's card coupon for 10% off and snapped it up for the missus at Mother's day.

Worked fine til dropped calls and super terrible talking from the speaker occurred regardless of the location, network, wifi, signal booster or tower mode used. Best Buy's Samsung person said it was a manufacturer problem and to call tech support since BB wouldn't let them front me a phone. T-mobile said they would have fronted hardware (with perfect hindsight) and couldn't help since I bought at BB.

Called tech support and they sent a shipping label and reiterated no fronting of phone. This will be the last time I invest money with a shady operator. Case point was my son's Nexus 5 going dead at the same time as a firmware update. Although I was pretty sure it was a battery issue Google guy said so sweat, we'll send a replacement, ship the defective phone back with the enclosed label. Samsung D-, Google A+.

Samsung lady said 9-11 business day for the S6 repair, got mad and took my ancient Galaxy light to T-mobile and made them install a free sim card in the S3 and rotate the present one to the light. The 9-11 days could end up being 24-30.

It's a good thing I held off on buying one of their tablets. If I find an impactful address I'll electronically or hard copy my frustrations and discussed with a lifelong future dislike with their products. Apple sheep be nice, I like the universal ease of use (insert multiple Samsung product ownership jokes here), multitasking, diversity and app access of all things Android.

Sorry it went for crap for you Vols.
Not to jinx it, but I've been having good luck with my Note 4. I hope it stays that way.

I dont know what it was about the S6 but I hated that phone and returned it the next day.
That's quite a bizarre statement. Seeing that the S6 is the most popular android phone, and that all smartphones today are nearly identical, you couldn't possibly "hate" the phone without having a strong opinion of what you hated about it.
