Sal's Trips to Harlem

Maybe there is a rationale for Sal going to Harlem to interview black people about an event that they relate to... But there is no rationale for going up there on Teddy Kennedy's death and asking what they think about Teddy's achievements at "Chappaquida"... other than to show that black people in Harlem are hilariously ignorant.... If they are going to do that schtick, they should send up Richard or Benji, someone who is not so blatantly bigoted.. Send Sal to Bensonhurst...

I agree with you. Or at least get different perspectives on different topics from different groups. I understand Sal wanting to do this, but it's almost as if Howard backs him, even though he won't.

I like these interviews because of characters that they get--Like "THE GOOCH" that was on today but I do agree that this one was boderline racist because TEd Kennedy didn't have a thing to do with Harlem.

That was some of the most embarrassing shit I've ever heard come out of a black persons mouth. Attention people like "GOOCH", If you have NO idea about the subject at hand there's no shame in saying I have no comment because I don't know. I totally agree. this segment is kinda stupid, cuz he only interviews obvious morons. and it doesn't have to be in harlem, there are morons in all colors and in all burroughs. and yeah, it does seem like they do this to make black people look stupid as these are the only people they ever interview while in harlem for these segments.
