Revealing it to someone was his way of getting airtime. And Sal does go on the WAS and act stupid and get many minutes of airtime. Gary likes to bring him in.

I never said his revealing it wasn't to get airtime. But I highly doubt he tracked down Bobby Flay, then said something disgusting and totally out of character, just to get airtime. I truly think Sal has no filter, then after he gets a reaction from everyone, he sees the airtime as a bonus. If all this was just fake schtick for airtime, then he wouldn't be doing things like stripping down to his underwear and dancing on a table at his wife's friend's wedding.

The boy is retarded when it comes to social situations, the possible airtime he gets from being socially retarded just aggravates his retardness.

I feel pretty stupid now lol. At work I can't install Firefox and IE doesn't have spell check. This version doesn't anyways.

Haha well sorry for pointing that out...didn't intend on making you feel dumb!

But yeah, some words you should NEVER misspell....dumb, stupid, retarded, moron, idiot, etc. That is, unless you're incriminating yourself..."I'm stoopid" would make perfect sense.

Howard: "Sal, you're a racist. How is Nick Gerz funny? What's wrong with you? Get out of the studio! Bring in the guest."

"And now, please welcome Lisa Lamponelli."

Sal proven correct: someone talked to Bobby Flay and he said Sal approached him as a bro, and that he appreciated the comment and his wife or whatever didn't hear anything.

preceded by Lisa gushing about Beth on TV and Howard's wonderful choice of dresses for her, preceded by Bobo gushing about Beth and Sal on Howard TV, preceded by a caller who was so impressed with Beth he wondering if she is going to have her own TV show with Robin joining the clamor for more Beth. Artie is impressed too.

geez...I agree, been kinda slow so far. I just don't get all the gushing over Beth :clueless:

Although the whiff of connection is only very slight, I couldn't help but tying two loose ideas into the overall Sal package.

It was decided while on the Wrap Up Show that Sal is socially awkward and that he might be suffering from Asperger Syndrome. But this entire line of thinking was brought up after Sal made a lewd reference of a hamburger tasting like a vagina from earlier on the Stern Show.

So, from the start of the show to the end of the show it went from vagina burger to As(s)perger. All this from a guy who admits to rarely having sex with his wife and who has to go to a McDonalds bathroom to beat his meat.

Just caught this on Wednesday's Wrap Up Show. Went something like this:

Caller: Gary, in the past Howard has insisted that Sal crossed the line when he joked about Beth because you don't criticize family members who are not involved in the show. Now that Beth has appeared in the Show in the Hallway with Sal and Howard is doing daily plugs on Beth's TV appearances, does that mean that Beth is fair game and Sal is free to do his horseface bits?

Gary: You'll have to ask Sal about that.

I found this interesting because I heard it at around 5AM meaning that it had been replayed four times... meaning that it did not get censored out... meaning that Howard has not gone totally over the top in treating Beth as a sacred cow. Of course, he may not have known about it.. meaning then that at least Gary has not gone over the top.

Was his ex-wife off limits?

Alison was off-limits to everyone but Howard. People will always say she "wasn't off limits", but they forget the only one who disparaged Alison was Howard himself.

Noooo.. She was featured in many less than flattering comments by Howard.. She was a pretty good sport about it... She would call and complain... he would tell her "you know that I love you" and it worked every time... or it seemed to
