Rumor: Howard to leave Sirius in June 09 to return to FM?

Hmmmm, I don't know. I think if terrestrial radio could get Howard for just a month, they'd jump at the opportunity.

That would be a profitable month (maybe not) and then what? They want and NEED long haul. Frankly, Sirius should have pushed for longer! Let's say they survive the five year contract...than what?

No way this is true. His sirius show is light years better than his stint on testicle radio - there is no going back (except replays - ugh).

If Sirius were to go under (a real possibility especially if GM, etc. go down) I would hope he would start broadcasting on the internet with an iTunes download option. How close are we to nationwide wireless internet coverage, including in-car? 5 years?

Maybe a morning show on HBO? His own DirecTV channel? Anything but FM, please!

A period of time spent at a particular activity. As opposed to Siobhan's stent. :eek:mfg:

Yes, I know...its just that I wouldn't define Howard's decades of employment in terrestrial radio as a stint. That said, it is also nothing at all like the thing that Siobahn puts inside her mangina so that her insides don't heal. Though, now that I think about it, you could say that Siobahn's stent? shares a closer relationship to a tampon, which is used for a woman's menstrual cycle; a period. Which could also be termed as a "stint"; a passing of time or period. But that's a stretch...even for me.

Oh my God...could you imagine how horrible that show would be? I'd have to think that the first month would be nothing but a constant stream of phone calls from all of the likely suspects; the Irish prefixes, the Bong Hit prefixes, the King of All prefixes, every fucking Eric...all supporting whatever Band Aid spin Howard would apply to his decision to come back to terrestrial radio.

It would be like living in opposite world circa Aug-Dec of 2005...no thanks.
