ESPN said that since it's only a civil suit, they were hesitant to report on it right away. Believe what you will, I guess.

After viewing the video of his apology, I think he looks like an innocent man. I could be wrong, but his statement was straight forward. Since she never filed a police report, and never had an intent to afterwards, it appears this Andrea McNulty is just trying to slander him.
This same kind of thing happened 7 years ago to Jerome Bettis where some chick was trying to extort cash from him over a similar style of incident. The case ended up getting dropped and never went to trial.
I feel this one is going to go down the same road, especially without a criminal trial.
