COMEDY CENTRAL is bringing Artie Lange's shocking, uncensored observations and incredible knack for funny storytelling to the stage. Lange returns as raw as ever in his new special from the famed Gotham Comedy Club in New York City. Listen as he talks about his competition with Heath Ledger and the opening monologue he'd do if he were ever asked to host the Oscars in this brand-new, one-hour stand-up special debuting Saturday, January 23 on COMEDY CENTRAL.

Saturday, January 23 at 11:00 PM on Comedy Central.

...I wonder how much will be bleeped.

If you watch this, you are enabling Artie. It's best we forget about him until he shapes up.

Comedy Central usually debuts the censored versions of their shows, then they'll play the uncensored version on a Friday or Saturday night at 1am within a couple weeks of the first airing.

I like Artie, his voice is missing from the Stern Show but his DVD was fair at best.

Much like when I saw him at Bubbapalooza, I had heard most of it already.

I thought he was supposed to have new material. I saw him last year and was shocked how much old material he used. He came around in November and I didn't bother that time.

His new DVD/CD had a lot of old material. Or maybe it just seemed old because he's used most of it in his various TV appearances over the past year or two. I hope he gets his shit together and lives to return to the show at some point.

Yeah, I guess you're right. I rarely watch Comedy Central. In fact, I haven't really watched it at all since their hour of Ben Stein's Money at 11 AM, and then two SNL episodes (from the early-mid 90's!) which was their schedule from 2001-2003 or so.

I do remember watching the uncensored version of the South Park movie on there, but I stayed up until 3 AM to watch the whole thing.

First, I take it Artie did not appear?

Second, any update on that fat bastard? Where is he? What's he up to? Is he coming back? Has anyone heard anything?

He's in a mental hospital still, most likely. Hopefully getting clean and some counseling.

I certainly hope so. It's like Artie just fell off the face of the earth. I really wonder how he's doing and if he's coping ok.

comedy central will probably play it uncensored. they have done that in the past with some shows and movies. hell even south park had an episode on prime time where they repeatedly said "sh*t" uncensored.

Usually they run the uncensored stuff at 1:00 am on Saturday nights.

I think that's when they aired the South Park movie...One saturday at 1 AM.

If CC airs the Artie DVD uncensored, it'll be at that same time.

I can't believe anyone thought Artie was going to do a live show. When Bencio del Toro mentioned Artie there was silence and groans from everyone.

Artie needs years away from the business, if he can even go back. Maybe he could become a sky diving instructor or invest his money and travel the world 30 times.
