Michael Waltrip Racing Holdings LLC, doing business as Michael Waltrip Racing, is a professional stock car racing team that competes in the NASCAR's top two series: the Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series. The team also fields development entries in the ARCA RE/MAX Series and USAR Hooters Pro Cup Series. Currently, they field two Sprint Cup and one Nationwide entry full-time: the #00 and #55 in Sprint Cup, and the #99 in Nationwide competition.

Michael Waltrip Racing Holdings LLC is a company formed as a 50-50 partnership between Robert Kauffman, the 44-year-old founder and managing partner of Fortress Investment Group, and Michael Waltrip, who first established the team in 1996.

Edit: You can add Marcos Ambrose and JTG/Daugherty Racing with MWR...:)

Should have gotten out BEFORE he started his own team! But with that said, I would have to if I could have pulled it off!LOL

If you would have asked me at the beginning of last year that MWR would have folded after this past season, I would have agreed.

I'm glad that MWR is still around and kicking. And they have two cars in the top 35...:)

Now they need to get that 00 car in the chase. I think Reutimann can make the chase and win a race or two this year...:D

I think Rooty Poo is one of the better drivers stuck in bad equipment. But they seem to be getting some better. I would really like to see him be a top 10 driver.

Reut is the best of the team, but it will also be interesting to see what JTG and Marcos Ambrose will do, since they are coming out of the MWR shop.

I find myself rooting for David just about every week. As previously stated, he's much better than the equipment he's in but MWR is getting better as time goes.
Are they down to two teams now?
