If I reset and erase the Stiletto, will my card also be erased? I have a problem where it will hang up occasionally while recording, causing me to do a full reset, always losing my mp3's saved to the hard drive. Haven't bought a card yet since I rarely need the storage, but if it can hold my stuff through a reset, then I will have to get one. Please help if possible.

In theory they will not be lost. But if you are going to do a reset+erase or a device recovery, it may be best to simply remove your card from the SL2. Thats what I have done.

thanks. I kind of figured that, but was wondering if anyone had reset with the card in and knew the results.

I did a reset with the card in and it does not erase the card. But my fear would be more about potential corruption than it erasing the card. The SL2 has always been sort of flaky in this way.
