I was on vacation all last week, so if he talked about this on air please forgive me. I don't wish this kind of bad on anyone. Hope all works out for David in this situation.

They're in the heart of NASCAR Country, though. It shouldn't have too much of an effect on DP. He's the talent. If he goes, so will most of their NASCAR Readers...

He said this morning that he still has his job, and most people expect a person to be happy about still having the job, it is hard to see friends and co-workers be cut. He's all congested with a cold and sounds miserable overall.

I've been through four down sizing phases at my job and while I'm very thankful I was saved and kept my job, I felt guilty because they kept me, but let the others go.

It's hard to be happy when you have your job but some of your co-workers and long time friends have lost theirs.

We had a lady walk out in a huff yesterday.... I bet in two weeks she'll be wishing she still had that job.

I spent 3 months and around 40 resumes until I got the job I have now. And THAT was NO fun.
