Pioneer & Sirius

Installing a Pioneer AVIC-F90BT in my truck. This is a Sirius ready unit. What Sirius radio units do I need to make this work? So far I have a Pioneer CD-SB10, This is a Sirius bus interface. What else do I need?

You need an SCC1 to go with that. Here is a link to the product: SIRIUS Connect Vehicle Tuner SCC1

The SCC1 is the tuner that will provide the satellite signal and information to the CD-SB10 and then to your radio. Hope this info helps.

By the way, good choice of radio! The AVIC series is friggin' schweet! I had an AVIC D3 in my old 4Runner and it rocked!

If you already have a plug and play radio, you can get the scvdoc1, and use your plug and play radio. If you go this route, you can still control the radio from your head unit, and use the radio in other docks, or boom boxes, with only one sub. Thats what I'm gonna do. Damn nice head unit by the way.
