Pearl Jams "Given to Fly", stolen from Led Zep, "Going to California"??

I don't hear it. Same rolling lyrics, but nothing close:

If they lifted it from Led Zeppelin, I think the charge would be more of a case of "receiving stolen property"...

There's a vague similarity but not a rip and doesn't carry the song, IMO.

When I read the first two words of your thread title I thought "Good grief, what's he into now? Stick with the midgets..."

It doesn't sound enough like "Going to California" for a lawsuit, if there ever was one.

FYI... Jimmy Page nicked the acoustic riff for "Stairway to Heaven" from a band called Spirit. The song was called Taurus.

That doesn't surprise me. Just one more song in a long line of people that Zeppelin ripped off.

O&A had a nice little rant a few weeks ago about L.Z. ripping off a lot of their hits.
