Do you think Ellis' content would be enough to program a channel of his own?

I think it would be interesting to see with maybe a HSS format with replays.

Or do you think it would be Ellismate overload?

I wonder....

There would have to be some HUGE budget changes. The guy is getting treated like shit salary wise. Outside of Howard, I consider him the most talented buy on Sirius-XM and he gets paid like Riley Martin.

You have a pretty valid point. But maybe his salary is right on par for what we're getting as an audience.

Ellis mentioned he'd get a producer and some other shit in order to evolve his show and for him to continue being the future of radio, after a caller asked.

I sort of like him raw dog, the way he is....a non-bastardized version of what he could be.

But yeah, I think regardless if he gets his own channel or not, Sirius|XM management should realize he's worth keeping...but those boneheads will fuck it up and let him slip through the cracks.

I think Ellis' audience is bigger than many think. Put him on 100 or 101, and he'd be huge.

Guy's I really think we're getting ahead of ourselves, here. There is no way Ellis can support an entire channel.

I'll be honest, I'm not trying to be a Dialamattress but after reading all of these Ellis posts I've tried to listen to the show and I just can't get into it at all. Too much yelling, too many long pauses and it just isn't my thing.

I wish nobody any bad juju or anything for liking his show, that is wy we have 150 channels to chose from but I think that this show is on the extreme fringe of popularity.

Sorry that you can't see the greatest radio show ever for what it is.

This thread wasn't a proposal for him to get his own channel. It was merely a question as to whether or not his content/style could support an entire channel.

Easily put, you say no. Fair enough, I can respect that.

I say yes. So..... Agree to disagree.

I can see that he's new(er) to radio and not a pro like Howard or Bubba but I think thats what I like about it. He's just honest and good at telling a story.
(I'd love to get the audio of the wolf knife laser torch story!) I don't know if he's the future of radio all I know is I love his show its super funny.
