I am wondering why Out-Q was kept only on Sirius on November 12, and if it might join the XM lineup on January 15. I'm curious because, though I am not gay, this channel could be interesting at times. There is nothing like it currently on XM now.

I love listening to Frank DeCaro, and I can't because I'm using my XM radio, now...:(

I haven't tried e-mailing anyone on the show, but I have a feeling it's because OutQ is an uncensored channel, and I think XM is maxed out on xL channels (Proper Modulations said something about that in another thread about a month ago)...

Maybe they will find away to bring this channel to everyone sometime soon...:)

If you want OutQ on XM send an e-mail to the customer care for XM and Sirius separately. As always, it's a subscriber supported service and they really do listen to us if we ask. I want OutQ on XM so I can listen with an XMp3!

they could have left the music programs on OutQ on the weekends. Was the only way to hear music from gay/lesbian artists that aren't on any of the mainstream channels. Also their Sunday night call-in dedications type show. But this was changed back in Feb 08 already.

Hello,
Just found out listening to the Michelangelo Signorile Show on OutQ that they will be on XM 98 starting on Monday Feb. 2! Sweet. Time to get an XMp3.

What is so sick about it? Romaine Patterson, of the Derek and Romaine Show, for example, has spoken up for causes including the Matthew Sheppard Foundation. She knew Sheppard personally, as detailed in her book...

I'm not catholic, but I won't bitch about them having a channel same for glbt. Fuck off seriously its one channel and it isn't sick you must really have a close mind. I also hate to break your bubble, but in LA, NYC, and other progressive areas they have glbt on regular radio. I can't believe some people.

He's a Nascar fan so that might explain it a bit. ;)

Attention other Nascar fans: I was making a joke, I do not believe all Nascar fans are homophobes.

So I wonder if this means that the merging of the talk channels that was rumored to be on Jan 15 is actually happening on Feb 2?

Exactly Kurtfoster , if you dont like the channel then block it or change it fair enough.

You're not thinking like a conservative. If he's paying $12.95/mo for satellite radio, then that means part of that money is going to OutQ. And a conservative is going to think that his (or her) money shouldn't go to something they don't agree with or think is morally wrong...

Personally, I think Fox News is morally wrong, but that doesn't stop me from subscribing to satellite radio...:)
