is anyone else besides me keep getting the old "acquiring signal" message during the first half hour of sirius speedway here lately?
if anyone of you can kindly email me the first half hour of the show i would greatly appreciate it. thanks!

nah, the radio is fine. there are times it goes days without getting the message. its just been the past 2-3 days right at the beginning of speedway. guess i'll just try and manage to stay awake to listen to the beginning of the replay.

So is it just during speedway? Or does it happen during other shows? Plus, do you change to other channels and they come in?

its just happening on sirius speedway mostly around the beginning of the show. and i turn over from howard 100 about 5 minutes before 2pm, but there is no droppin in and out on 100.
what sucks is i really don't have any terrestrial repeaters around me.

Well that stinks because the fist hour of the show is usually the best part of the show. I've been off the road for two months, are they still replaying the show overnight?

yeah, they are replaying the shows at night. not sure if they are still playing the thursdays show on friday night.

anyways, no problems today. haven't dropped a signal yet all day.

sounds like there may not be enough satellits in your area at that time of day

who knows. i know i'm not picking up any terrestrial signals in my area and i only live about 30 miles from kc. you'd think living smack dab in the middle of the U.S. you wouldn't have any problems with gettin a signal whatsoever.

I get the same thing for about an hour or so, at the beginning of Speedway. I have always thought it had to do with the satellite positioning plus the building I am in at that time of the day. And no problems at any other time of the day.
