I never heard censored on Octane, not sure what everyones complaining and scared about. The channels that censor are pop channels, or crossover from XM's playlist that used to censor. They are in the process of uncensoring them.

Yeah, very odd. Since Bodhi starting programming it, I have liked Octane a but more then usual, with more artists playing and more songs from each artist, BUT, there is more overlap now from Alt nation. More alternative like rock bands are getting airplay on octane that usually only got play on alt nation, like my chemical romance, green day, and a few others. It's not HORRIBLE, but it is strange, however, I think a few green day and more alternative songs depending on the song can fit on Octane. I just hope the crossover doesn't get too much. There is room for some of the bands to be played on both.

The new Octane also seems to be playing more '90s, probably to make up for the pussification of Lithium...

I like the bigger playlist, but I seem to be hearing a LOT more slower songs that could be played on an AC station. One good thing about Octane was that it got harder when Lithium came around. It's gotten a lot less hard since the programming change, and I'd like to see the "wussy" rock turned down just a little bit.

Why the hell is Octane playing The White Strips? When they play that song, I change the channel!

Yeah, I was not a happy camper at the changes made to Octane. I don't want to hear some of that crappy music they are playing. First, they advertise themselves as new music - why did I hear 2 newish songs out of the 12 I listened to? It should be the other way around! And Green Day on Octane? I about choked when they came on. I don't want to hear them on Octane! I also looked forward to the countdown and now that is gone too. Ugh. I did complain to Kayla, and she said they are still getting things figured out. C'mon, even the countdown had to go?

What I do like about Bohdi is that he tells who's coming up - giving me the chance to switch to another station for a few songs!

I am so far pleased with the Octane music changes , and I kind of like the White Stripes and the 90's stuff on Octane since Lithium took a crap.

I am not likling Octane as much since the merger. To me it was a hard rock only channel before the merger. Now they seem to be mixing in alternative. I heard Incubus, Staind, Kid Rock and Alice in Chains the other day. I really don't think they belong on Octane.

Octane was fine just the way it was and did not need to be "improved". I still listen to it but I change stations when groups I feel don't belong are played on it.
