I've never listened to those guys...are they any better than Jack & Rod?

They basically are Jack and Rod.

To be fair, they once had ok ratings. But their shtick got hold of them and their mouths started writing checks that their asses couldn't cash. They are now down to K-Rock, Cape Cod and Rochester NY (the latter 2 are not quite top 10 markets).

It's over Johnny. :hah:

There is absolutely nothing to listen to in Boston and these fools blew it.

In the late 1990s O&A in the afternoon and Stern in the morning was the absolute best.

Mel does not want them on Terr. radio so he is liking this I am sure.

No, people WANTING them on FM and Mel moving them to Sat only might be something he would like.

People not even wanting to hear them FOR FREE does not really help SatRad...

You make a "valid" point. Howard was never dropped by any stations.

8 stations in 25 years, most due to content, not ratings. Let's compare it to this:

Former affiliates include WBCN, WKRK-FM, WCYI, KXTE, WXYT, KLLI, WEDG, WAZU, KIFR, WKRK, WTZN-FM, WYSP, WPBZ, WCKG, WJFK-FM, WMOS, WSKO (AM), WKLQ-FM, KHYT, WSKO-FM, KSFN and KBZU.

From: Opie and Anthony - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

That's the number of affiliates dropped since they went back to terrestrial. 22 stations in 2 years 8 months. At least Stern can say he finished with more affiliates than he lost (like 7 times the ones he lost).

Any other "valid" points you'd like to make that prove just how much O&A suck at morning radio? Jeepers Goreds, take gilpdawgs advice and give it up, because you really aren't good at it. Let's face it, every time you try to post, you get owned.
