I need to listen to more O&A. I haven't heard them since I last rented a GMC vehicle several years ago.

You only get a little bitching from Opie, Jim and Ant let it all go. I like 5 shows a weeek and now they stagier vacations, so live shows 49-50 weeks and year. 2 live shows during the 4th of July week

I had HUGE issues with the fist show I ever listened to. They were mocking a rape victim. The 2nd (and last) was great. They were talking about (for the short time I heard) O or A's troubles on a flight. If I could tell them apart it would ahve been better but I guess that comes after listening more than twice.

Ants the hard right wing gun nut, Opie the whiny douse bag

I will be there at the Live Broadcast. Looking forward to it, despite the odd location.

Always hope when shows/acts came through town they get to see the good parts of it. Where they are broadcasting from couldn't be any further from that.

On a side note, taylor, did you go to see Conan at all in Chicago when he was there?

No I didn't. Kinda not into Conan for years. But did see his show on the last night Clinton was President. Did a whole party in his honor of all the humor he brought the nation.

Then I saw Conan at the restaurant when I was working there. He came before the Emmy's in 2002 and he happened to be there the night Bill Clinton was actually there! It was a star studded night. Britney Spears was there, so was Joey Mcintrye. Then Bill Clinton had a fundraiser in a private room with David Spade, Luke Wilson, Owen Wilson, Leonardo DiCaprio, Quincy Jones and some others. Then Dennis Farina was there and some people I can't remember offhand.

I had the balls/stupidity to approach Conan and his table or writers and tell them a joke based on how crazy it was that all these celebs were in the restaurant at once. His writers said, sure we might use that next wednesday. I was pumped. Come to find out it was Wed Sept 11, 2002. So the whole show was a somber, no joke having type of show. Oh well. But that night stood out amongst all other nights in terms of shear star power for those that worked there.

Will for sure listen.

DO you have any guesses on whether there will be a big crowd? I'm worried they won't get as many 1. People with Bad Breath. 2. Fat Pigs. 3. People with weird objects.

Ordinarily that wouldn't make sense but all these things they are seeking out for contests.

I was at the live show. Tons of people. My guess was probably around 500 or so. The show was really funny, the highlight to me was the Chip impression contest. One guy seemed to out Chip Chip.

I entered in the oddest thing you own contest bringing my Jesus painting that was used in Curb Your Enthusiasm. The audience liked it at first until the boys questioned whether it was authentic. CM Punk was there judging as well. On the back of the painting was a hand written note on Curb letterhead that says "Painting used in season 8 of Curb Your Enthusiasm" and CM Punk hand wrote a note that said "Painting NOT used in season 8 of Curb Your Enthusiasm." So that part to me was pretty funny. I really should have saved CM Punks note and attached it to the back.

The grossest part of the show was the bad breath contest. Nobody seemed to be the winner then some guy got up on stage and gagged himself and barfed on stage. Had to turn away. He immediately breathed on ERock and was the frontrunner. Then the guy after him drank his puke to try to compete. Fucking gross. Really cringe worthy.

All in all it was a great crowd and a huge success. Plus the boys really loved Chicago and took to being awesome tourists. Really goes a long way when they can tell stories of all the things they did around town instead of being some act that comes and goes into town without experiencing it.

Here is Sam, myself with the painting then CM Punk, Jim, Anthony and Opie
