Now its Paul McCartney's turn to take over The Bridge. Are Bridge fans abused or what?

It's like someone at SXM programming was reading the DRC.
One of the single artist channel threads had several people mention that they would listen to a Beatles station. . . .

May the fleas of 10,000 camels infest the armpits of all who suggested such a channel.

Disappointed to find out the Bridge is going off air already. Seemed like it just came back! The music on it was very good, most of it is hard to find elsewhere on Sirius XM nowadays. Another bad move by Sirius XM, in my opinion.

I do like the Beatles, but I doubt that I'll tune in be tuning very often.
Single artist stations get stale pretty quickly for me.

One way to make your electronic opinion count is by e-mailing Sirius at: SIRIUS Satellite Radio - Customer Care Make sure you highlight Music Programming in the Pick a Category window. For all we know the programmers think listeners are getting bored with the same selections and crave an artist of the month.

While I'm not sure McCartney has enough material (non-Beatles type) to cover a month we do have 129 other channels to choose from. My glass is half full.

We talk about Sirius and stale playlists, and they bring out single artist stuff?

They need to have two single artist channels. One for Elvis (because it apparently works as an advertisement in Graceland), and one for everyone else that rotates on a regular basis, based on how much the labels pay.

Or they combine several single artist channels into one. They could play a Springsteen song, then a Paul McCartney song, a Rolling Stones song, a Who song, a Led Zeplin song, an AC/DC song all on one channel. They could have 69 such channels. What they have to do is convince the record companies to pay for such a scheme.

While I'm a bit pissed off that they're taking The Bridge down yet again, it's only a month and there are plenty of other channels I can enjoy in the meantime.
