Not once have they mentioned this great change for led zeppelin radio. I guess some people will be pearl harbored!

BUT I will give this new channel a chance. I think zeppelin has some great blues songs which will get play. I am sure this channel will go deeper than stairway.

I love Zeppelin, and will keep this channel as a preset. Just wish it didn't come at the expense of The Bridge!

You are right, though. If not for this forum, I would have no idea about this programming change.

What pisses me off is that they keep the listener (aka people that pay the bills) in the dark.

Ironically, as I read your message, they are playing Stairway:rofl2:

I listened to the Zep channel for four hours this morning and another two hours this evening.. I've heard Stairway twice... (They just played it before I started typing this message).. If you heard it around 4:42 PM Eastern time (as you typed your message), then they've played Stairway at least three times today.

Most of the other songs I've heard have received plenty of play on Classic Rewind, Classic Vinyl and The Vault. If the channel play list stays the same, it's going to get old very fast.

Although I've been moaning about losing The Bridge, I am a long time Zeppelin fan. I have six of their albums (in both record and CD). I've even seen them live years ago in Minneapolis... And after six hours, I'm tired of the channel already.

They sent an e-mail to me. I deleted my A-4 Channel 12 preset. If it wasn't going to be completely jugled in 12 days I would hide the channel too. Channel 12 and Led Zepplin are dead to me until 12/31 (or popular demand).

Completely agree.

Why is this station on now and with this type of playlist? Inquiring minds want to know!

The Sirius PR department has needed someone with a brain for a long time. Info on station activities gets dispersed randomly, some with no obvious thought process behind them. I am no PR genius but look how long it took them to cross promote within stations.

The promos they run for the Led Zeppelin channel are better than the music they actually play.
