Syndicated radio personality Bubba the Love Sponge® will be broadcasting his top-rated morning talk show live on Cox Radio’s WZLR 95.3 The Eagle in Dayton, Ohio, starting this Monday, March 16.
With WZLR 95.3 The Eagle, Bubba the Love Sponge® - ranked #52 on Talkers Magazine’s 2009 “Heavy Hundred†list of top talk radio hosts - adds market number 62 and another classic rock format station to his growing roster of music stations that air the show live.

The Bubba the Love Sponge® Show currently airs on Cox Radio stations WHPT-FM/Tampa (102.5 The Bone),WFYV-FM/Jacksonville (Rock 105), WHDR-FM/Miami-Ft. Lauderdale (93 Rock), WHTQ-FM/Orlando (96.5), and WDYL-FM/Richmond (Y101), along with Beasley Broadcast Group station WRXK-FM/Ft. Myers (96 K-Rock). The show is broadcast live from 6 am to 10 am ET weekdays from Bubba’s own custom, multimedia studio in Tampa, which is regularly visited by stars from the worlds of sports, comedy, music and film/TV/video.

Heard him mention a new affiliate this morning - good for him. Cox doesn't have any stations here in Michigan, but it would be interesting to see what he could do in Detroit now that morning drive is in a bit of a transition here on several stations.

Bubba was at WGRD here in Grand Rapids 20 years ago. If WKLQ starts carrying him (and their ratings blow), maybe it'll be like they're saying sorry for fucking with Stern in 2003.

They need to get Bubba here in Columbus. All the morning shows here suck. The station that had Howard on now have Bob and Tom. Those guys are idiots. Thank God I've had Sirius as long as I have. I would hate to go back to listening to shitty radio.
