Does anyone have the bits from the first couple Sirius shows this year when Ned was cursing his brains out?

It really pisses me off that you can't transfer from Stiletto to mp3. I know there's a way, but i'm not technically savvy enough to do it.

Good deal. It's missing the part where Ned talks about Tonk and the chocolate cock, but oh well. If you have that, even better.

Assuming I have it - I should be able to pull it off.... if so, I'll update tomorrow.

Here's the extended bit as they talk about the chocolate cock. It seems to end abruptly, but after the party store comment he just went right into talking about some whoores.

You guys are awesome.

How do you do it? Super K5 magic or something a simpleton could understand? There's so much stuff i'd love to permanently save, since it seems like my various Stilettos crap out every few months.

Any tips, or would it be better to make a wishlist?

Heh - yup - Super K5 magic with a bit of technology on the backside.

I do it 2 ways. The first is using an app for the internet stream that has record capabilities and saves to mp3. It's a Mac app that is currently being redeveloped, so this version is no longer being supported -- I'm waiting for the day it breaks. (I believe there are Windows apps out there to do this, but I don't know for sure.)

The second was having the home dock setup for my Starmate, and using line-out to my Mac. Requires an add-on app called LineIn if I want to actually hear it on my laptop. I use Audacity to grab the feed and record that. I don't know that the Stilleto has a line out, though. (And I say *was* because I removed the outdoor antenna for winter since it leaves a slight gap in my storm window that was becoming an issue with all of the arctic temps we've been having this year :) )

All edits, clips and segments are edited out using Audacity as well. It's a great audio editing app.
