Well excuse me, but I've listened to some of Scott's and I have to say I've always been bored to tears and usually can't get through them before shutting them off.
I thought the fast pace, staying on task and just getting info out there would keep me coming back. These long drawn out podcast where they toot their own horn rather than actually provide real information is more of a turn off.
Clearly the point here has been totally missed as this is a TSS Podcast to highlight current products and also provide some technical information on those products. I think it accomplished both of those things. The products being pushed for the week could certainly be toned down a tad bit. Maybe pick a couple of products to give some support information in regards too.
The one thing I found was the background music during the support section was too loud and in my opinion it either needs to be turned down or after 30 seconds stopped and then right at the end you could turn it on again.
I personally enoyed the whole thing and in context of what it was designed for and to do, I think you guys were right on.
I do thing the p p in the mike has to be fixed!
Taylor I wouldn't abandon this over a couple of negative bits of feedback. Those folks gave their opinion, take the parts you feel are credible and let the rest go. I don't want TSS to do the type Podcast that Scott does. Keep it short, fast paced and too the point! Make it fun!
You know what they say... Opinions are like assholes, everybody's got one, it is just that some stink a lot worse than others! ROTFLOL
