MySpace vs. Facebook

When I join MySpace and Facebook long time ago, I find MySpace to be a much better place and you can do lots of stuff there while I found Facebook to be too simple and not enough features on there. You can not even do much at Facebook at all.

Now Facebook made lots of changes there and I heard lots of complaints about the new Facebook. Why people complain about the new Facebook is beyound me. In fact, I found Facebook to be better than MySpace now.

I was going to do a poll about what people think of the new Facebook but I know I am going to get complaints so I decided to do a poll comparing Facebook vs MySpace.

Had myspace, didn't use it much, but a lot of people I know did, so they would post things and I'd go there to see them.

But, about a year ago, Facebook took over, myspace is a desert now, used mostly for promotional purposes. New movies, cd's, shows, etc. all get advertized there, but as for friends updating things there, it's very rarely.

I like facebook, always something to do, I'm a bit of a facebook freak, probaby.

I don't care for either of them personally... not a big fan of the social networking sites.

But, I do have accounts on both, mainly to keep up on the kids and what they are doing on them. (I know I'm a mean parent). I think facebook is better for the overall cleaner look of the pages, I absolutely hate the way MySpace allows people to customize their pages with god awful graphics/colors that make it hard to read.

Must be a kid thing. I hated both too, but, after a while I had no choice but to try them out. I got caught up in it all. After moving away from my home town, it was agood way to stay in touch with old co-workers and friends outside of calling each night. (Facebook) I like the photo albums and such. It's addictive, even though I know it's dumb.

I never used Facebook before, I had a MySpace page before. But I never visited much as I use too, so I deleted it.

I use both Facebook and Myspace and I prefer Facebook. I think it is easier to use and everyone's pages look the same. One of my pet peeves about Myspace are the wacky layouts people use. SOme of them make the text and stuff extremely difficult to read.

I basically use them to keep in touch with high school friends and such. I don't know how websites like classmates.com can stay in business when they charge a fee. You can keep in touch with your friends for free on Myspace and/or Facebook.

I have a facebook page but never use it. Sometimes people I haven't heard from in years find me there though, so it's kinda cool.

Exactly. Facebook is a nice place to connect with people you know and re-connect with people you lost touch with. At least once every 2 or so months a person from years ago finds me on there.
