I got a used S50 from craigslist (I know what you're thinking, but it was from a police officer and I don't think he was tricking me or anything) and it can't get a signal at all. I'm thinking it might be something wrong with the cradle. It is impossible to listen to because it cuts out every second. I called Sirius and they told me to try a hard reset. I haven't done that because I figured I should come here first. If it is the cradle where can I get a new one?

I think you could probably get one onlin somewhere. But I would imagine if it is cutting out it could be reception, your antenna or the service. I have seen some post of people complaining about the cut outs. I did have them months ago in my area (north east) but everything is fine now. I also noticed some channels work better than others. But if none of this works I would look towards the hardware. Let me know how you make out!

I had the firmware updated, but I checked again and it said the baseband (whatever that is) wasn't updated. I did that and now it works fine.
