I see that heart on the screen under the song. Was TSSTaylor wrong about the love button being eliminated? Looks like it is right there plain to see.

He was hearing sooo many different things about the Lynx, it sounded more like he gave up on speculating. With everything that's going on, I can't blame him.

The guy from Crutchfield in the podcast Me Rubin posted sounded pretty uncertain about a lot of stuff too. He mentioned memory space built in for 200 hours of content, but no mention of Loving tunes. All will be clear pretty soon. I'm still psyched.

I believe the initial reports said love on internet too. But the manuals leaked suggest sat only. And even that is old copy. I don't think we will know till they release it. And it may be the last haggling point with the record labels too which may be delaying the release.

From the podcast, he said there's space for 200 hours of content in the main memory. But with no scheduled recordings, there isn't anything else but the 25 hours of cached music that can write to that memory. Anything that the user puts on it have to go the the sd card. So if it cant love tunes or schedule recordings when it's available in the coming weeks, there is the potential to do it in the future if they get their (assumed) issues resolved with the RIAA.

This thing is an enigma, wrapped in a riddle, dipped in twinkie batter and deep fried.

The pics are starting to have a milk carton effect. Will the Lynx live up to the hype? I think it will hit the shelves in January when people are trying to pay Christmas bills and initial sales will be disappointing. The company has done a sad job of organizing the advertising and release information.

Ooooh! I love satellite radio porn.

The radio looks sharp!

LOL! It's like one of those 1-900 chat line things. I don't know who's on the other end of the phone, but I'm not going to let the details keep me from getting out my credit card.

I believe the most telling picture thus far is the Lynx pic on the Sirius website itself-

SiriusXM Radio - SiriusXM Radio

It clearly shows the heart on the screen for the love button for songs. I think Taylor is going to end up being wrong on this one.

When it comes to SiriusXM, I usually don't bet against Taylor! ;)

He's the best source on the net. My bet is he got this one wrong. If the RIAA stopped the Lynx love button why didn't they stop the Stiletto or the XMP3i? And all the photos thus far are showing that heart.

If the crazy lack of consistent information has him saying he's giving up speculating on this one, I trust him that it's time to just wait SXM out till these things are in hand.

My other theory is that the love button will stay intact, but will only allow for 'tagging' songs online or on the sats for purchase from a amazon or something similar, or build a list of lved songs to create a personalized station or something, but will not physically keep these songs on the unit.

From what it sounds like (again, more speculation) if they can't release it with "Love" capabilities now, they will be able to update the software over time. There was also talk that 2.0 would be released incrementally, so who knows what we'll be able to do 6 months from now.

I don't know what the reactions will be when a unit is released with features that can't be utilized. I don't want to buy a Porshe for 30mph city driving only. Recording channels 2-959 via wifi is a major selling point for this subscriber.

The beauty of a Stiletto or XMp3i is the ability to record while away and listen to programs later. Radio replays, on demand content and the ability to rewind to the beginning of a song or program are all pluses.

The find show feature is rumored to be an option (or is only with the app). No new news on the time shift option (or is it simply the option to pause rewind or skip).
