Here is why I think their FM hacks one they do not let the customer know of changes and two they do a poor job of advertising future sporting events e.g. see the College Basketball Schedule before it was edited today. I hope we hear something about Spring Training soon because that will give us a clue as to if we are or not getting games for the 2009 season.

If in fact SIRIUS is going to broadcast MLB games, I would think they would promote the heck out of the BEST OF XM package.

i guess i'm lost as why you are using the term "fm hacks*
and spring training games start next week so we should know by then if they will play regular season games. i still say we'll get them since mlb home plate was exclusive to xm via mlb rights, so they basically had to redo the contract to read siriusxm.
FM Hacks are people who come from testicular radio and do not know how to Run a company.
Anyhow about Spring Training and the WBC hopefully we will know by next Wednesday if we are getting games for 09. The only concern I have is with the inter twining of College Sports NHL and NBA for the month of March because there are only ten pbp channels and alot of the Spring Training games take place before those games , but once the regular season starts will they have problems because of the NHL and NBA ?
Basically in simple language , We do not know what is going on and we will have to wait until Tomorrow or early next week to find out.
they will definitely put some if not all the nba games on the sirius channels and possible some college games. they already put some of the nba games on channels 120-127.
also a possibility, but not likely, they might ad some more best of pbp channels because mlb has a bigger fan base than nhl and basketball. just a thought is all.

So we know in advance if it is official because this would drive the best of XM subscriptions up big time with this. As to the other point about the NBA and college that is a possibility but I highly doubt some schools e.g. ACC ones would want their games on the Sirius platform. If I were running the company I would put 10 more pbp channels on 198-207 for baseball.
as long as i have the best of xm then i'm good. i can't worry what everyone else has. lol

I have the best of XM as well , but this would get the company some much needed dough right now if MLB games were on the best of XM and letting the subscribers know what is going on would help.
As to the ACC those schools like Duke and Carolina who exclusively broadcast with XM and on the Best Of XM wouldnt like their games on the 100 channel territory for sports pbp.

skeptical of what, sirius going under? if sirius goes under so does xm. all sirius has to do is renegotiate the contract to read siriusxm. correct me if i'm wrong, but all sirius is doing is honoring the contract instead of paying an out clause.
i totally understand your skepticism, but i got faith in them. they added mlb home plate, they fixed our memo feature on our receivers, to a point. all of that while not informing us. so right there their batting 100, i'd say odds are pretty good will get some mlb action.

I would think a game on the BestOf XM would count as a word from Sirius XM.
