Can't remember
not at all. sometimes it sucks being tall.

i'm hoping if ron capps runs the chili bowl coming up, he will attempt to come here and take the seat time. i think it pays $5000 to win, not that i expect capps to win or anything.

At least you can reach stuff without asking for help :)

And that would be cool if Ron showed up there

land of confusion
true that.
maybe if some of the people that are close by or even want to make the trip to the race might want to have a little get together before it starts and maybe do lunch.

and no i'm not talking about the little people!

That got me laughing so hard. Probably 15 years ago I was heading to the Expo Center in a cab. My cabbie was from the Middle East and he asked me what was going on there as he had seen a lot of cars heading into the parking lot. I told him that it was the Chili Bowl. He just looks at me kind of funny and just says "what?". I tell him "Midget races, it's a pretty big event"

I will remember for the rest of my life the look on this guys face as he just looked at all the people walking into the building and then looks at me in amazement and asks "you mean little people?". Without batting an eye I just told him "yes, you should see them go, it's quite a sight.", as I was getting out of the cab this poor guy was just shaking his head in disbelief and muttering "unbelievable!"

A few more named people have been added. Looks like NHRA funny car driver Cruz Pedregon has been added, but need to confirm that this is in fact the NHRA driver. Samantha Taylor, Next Race June 7th with ASCS in NC is listed. She looks a little rough, but might be worth watching. And finally, Nascar's favorite substance abuser, Shane Hmiel.

maybe i'll go up to him and harass him about it. its sad when someone like me would love to have a shot to give nascar a try and yet some punk like him had a shot and waste it away. i have yet to understand the way some athlete's think.

Midgets? Seeing that brought back some great memories. When I was 12 in 1965, we lived in Sun Prairie, Wi. and used to go and watch the "Mighty Midgets" race most every weekend. Great memories of time with day and watching a lot of great racing with the ocasional car looping up into the air...they were fast. Anywho...thanks for jogging those memories.
