memo feature on sirius receivers finally work....to a point

i tried the channels i remember that i couldn't memo before and now they are finally working...to a point.

1 of 2 things is gonna happen. 1)your gonna be able to store the artist or song, or 2)the channel has that artist blocked and you won't be able to store either the artist or the song.

for example, on boneyard i tried to memo cheap trick and was given to store the artist or song. motorhead came on next and i was unable to store motorhead or the song title.

and if this has been discussed i'm sorry i double posted, but when i did i search i found nothing on this. enjoy!

can you please give me the channel numbers of those 2 and not to be a smartass, but did you read my post thoroughly, because i tried all the stations that i know that didn't use to memo and they worked, and i even confirmed a channel with taylor from tss-radio today that in fact that it does work.......to a point. its definitely better than what it was.

i'm thinking if they are blocked its because xm has a block on those artist for whatever reason. maybe with some knowledge on this can answer us.

So I checked into this and some other stuff today and got an update that would be as official as I can get. This is from one of the heads of Product Marketing.

"On many channels this problem has been fixed. There are still about 15 channels that the programing team is adding the correct tags to the streams for these features. They should all be complete a week from tomorrow. "

Cool deal. I'm hoping we can see in a week or two how all this is going then.

thank you for the update!

I'm looking forward to this problem being corrected...Earlier while driving to work i was listening to bpm 36 and it took 7 songs before the feature finally worked..

totti, i'm sorry i haven't followed up and said what i was going to do, but things have been hectic the past week. i am gonna TRY my best to do it later tonight and post what i have come up with.

taylor, thanks for the insight sir. now just to figure out why my "sirius seek list" feature is messed up and i'll be all happy again.

ok, i just gave 30 minutes to BPN and it was absolutely horrible. 0-7

i'm going to have to do Area later as I am getting the aquiring aignal message quite a bit. plus for the 10 minutes i have been listening to it, thet have been playing george acosta the whole time.
