this is what they needed. did anyone else catch mark not mentioning anything about hendrick?
He mentioned Hendrick plenty.
maybe i tuned it out then. i heard him mention alan and the team but no rick/hendrick plug. and the only time i got to sit down and watch any tv was during qualifying and i only seen 2 interviews with him.

I gotcha, I was listening to is on the Pathetic Racing Network and he mentioned Hendrick a couple of times.

Yeah, because you know that Hendrick gets away with everything. Heck. it's not like they'd penalize a driver or crew chief and suspend him for ......... Oh, never mind.
Yeah, I'd like to see Martin get the win. And the championship. And since this time he's with Hendrick maybe nascar will actually let him get it.

I'm fairly new to the sport compared to a lot of you guys but whats with all the conspiracy theories with Martin and Roush Racing? I know he lost the title once because of a rules violation costing him points but I didn't think they actually had it out for him?
There are a lot of people that think NASCAR didn't want Roush in the sport back in the late '80s. When Ricky Rudd announced that he was going to the Wood Bros back in 2002, Roush was at the press conference and basically said that if it wasn't for the Wood Bros help, he would have never gotten into the sport.
NASCAR penalized Mark Martin for some unapproved engine part, or something, back in 1990. They scored MM last care on the lead lap and that cost him some 40 odd points. I think he lost the championship that year to Dale Sr. by something like 25 points...:shock:
Oh well. People can believe what they want to believe when it comes to that kind of stuff. I look at it as being only one incident. They could have made up those point somewhere else during the season, but failed too...:worried:
I like Mark. I don't think he's the greatest driver not to win a championship as a driver. I think Junior Johnson was. Junior had 50 wins as a driver, Marks somewhere around 35. Too lazy to look it up. I just know I was at Kansas in 2005. His last victory in Cup...

oh I would too! Believe me that'd be great. however if this run of bad luck he's having doesn't end and soon it's not going to be possible this year.
