Exactly. Hopefully Gibbs sticks with him I hate to see the 20 car where it is in points though. He really got pushed up to cup WAY to early. Another year or two in Nationwide would have done him good. its too bad the way the Stewart thing shook out last year. Thats what put him in this position.
i highly doubt gibbs will let him go. and the other rumor floating around is truex may end up in that seat if things don't turn around super fast at egr.
rpm has a 8/15 deadline to pick up dinger's extention for 2010. so they better find funding fast or he will be a hot item.
Amen, I can't figure out why they want these "kids" up to that level before they are old enough to vote, I would think seat time would be the greatest asset to honing the next great racer. Are they thinking that these drivers peak before they are 30? I guess that's why I don't work for a NASCAR team....
I can't imagine the pressure Logano must be under. There was way to much hype on this KID right from the start. Some of the media almost had me convinced that he had already had the season rookie title wrapped up before they took the green flag at Daytona. I'm sure he's great but it would have been nice to see him work his way up to a Cup ride at a more realistic pace.
Joey is lucky he came in this year and not last year. If this was last year, with the number of fully funded cup teams out of the top 35, he would be in trouble. This year I cant see him falling out due to the number of teams around.
I believe Truex AND Bono are already gone, figuratively speaking of course. I think sooner is better myself, but not much out there to choose from right now.
The stuck with JJ Yalay for two years before they decided to can him. The didn't stick with Jason Leffler quite as long...:shock:

That he can. Didn't get to see the Nashville race, but, listened to it on Sirius, he and Kyle sounded like they were going at it most of the day.
Joey'll do fine in Cup...just needs to get the feel for these tracks he's seeing for the 1st time driving a car he's driving for the first time....we'll get a better idea on how he's progressing later in the year when he returns to some of these tracks. He's a great driver and "Coach" knows what he's got in Joey and will give him the time.
