If the rumored combining of the music channels is true, why would anyone want to dual sub? The major difference between XM and Sirius is going to be the "Best Of" channels which can be received on a single radio for $4.

So why pay $6.99 for an XM sub added to a Sirius account?

Configuration. I won't be able to fully remove all my XM equipment. I use the FM mod on some of my XM units and I have XM in my car. I certainly would not be putting any more investment in my XM radios and when they die, I would just cancel them rather than replace them. But for now I am stuck.

I'll be interested in "best of XM" when they add MLB to it.

    Has anyone heard anything?

The dual sub price that was discussed prior to the merger was in the neighborhood of under $20 so what Sirius Rich wants he may get eventually. I think that DAB is on to something, this may be a problem that they can't solve today until their accounting and activating systems are merged.
