It's so my girl friend can find where I'm at, where it works right. She likes to worry.

It uses the GPS, so I'm sure that has something to do with it.

Google used to do the same thing, but they removed that feature from Google Maps
Use Google+ location sharing for that.

Canada, eh?
I'd be going from the G2 to the G4 so it would be a significant upgrade for me but I still have 7 months left in my term so the G5 might be available by then or I could get that potential new Android running BlackBerry.

My screen has been freezing up & dimming out.

I'm really getting tired of the issues with my phone.

I either need to get a Droid phone, or, do the unthinkable, & get an iPhone

I think you just hate phones.

My battery life started sucking when Lollipop was pushed out. Then Verizon pushed out a new build and the battery life was good again. Now it's good as long as I don't user location services too much.

I like Hello Kitty phones.

My battery life is better since I deleted Life360

Huh. Not very long.
Usually Verizon arranges it so that phones start to go wonky 4 or 5 months before you're eligible for an upgrade.
They do that intentionally....... Just sayin.....

I think you can upgrade after a year. Might wait until November & see what they can do for me

Never heard of that. Isn't caller ID standard for all phone calls?

Verizon will let you pay for it. I don't feel like paying for it.

This Truecaller looks like the most popular one

Truecaller - Caller ID & Block - Android Apps on Google Play

I've been getting a lot of phone calls from advertisers. Deals on cruises are that sort of stuff. I tried blocking the numbers but apparently, my Verizon LG G3 is not capable of that.

That feature is not available on it. An android forum I found says Verizon must have turned off the function.

Anywho, I searched for caller id apps, & that one came up
