In so many words his advice to her is to stay in IRL longer, specially after seeing how a move to cup has proven alot of hard challenges for others that have come over.

Looks like the IRL understands where their bread & butter is at. Apparently they understand her importance and are doing what they can do to keep her there. Like her or not, she brings in the bucks in more ways than one.

I think people naturally resent someone who garners so much media attention, yet really hasn't won much of anything yet.

More than likely it is because she is just like that unnamed most popular driver who drives green car now that we have, the TV people overhype a mediocre at best driver, just like she is in the IRL, I mean 20 cars start a race and she can't even get a top 10. Also like that other unnamed driver their only wins in the last 2 years (hers for her whole career) came on sheer luck and fuel mileage. Amazing the similarities

I, for one, hope that this is true. This will be a good thing for NASCAR. It's going to bring allot of attention to what ever series she competes in. She'll be bringing more people to the sport. Whether you like her or not, you'll pay attention to how she does. :yesshake:

It's not much of a ploy, there is only one team in the IRL she can run for. AGR is bidding against no one.

And that's weird to me, since a month ago it was pretty much a foregone conclusion that she was going to TCGR.
