I did it mostly so I can have sirius on my iphone. I have gotten so used to sirius programming that slacker wasnt appealing to me. But I did give it the ole college try.

So what is this 128k stream? What is the non premium stream?

Also the CS rep said that I wasnt able to sign up for the annual rate of 32.89 at this time. She got an error. Can my lifetime have something to do with it? She was also really cool and put a $10 credit on my account to give me a few months free.

I still like Slacker better for music not only for variety, but SQ wise as well.

Premium 128kb, non premium 32kb. Premium sounds better, but not as good as Slacker!

I think slacker is for slackers!!! JK

Actually as much time as I've put into my stations making them my own, I'd disagree with you big time. I think the problem is that most don't take the time to do a little customizing and even creating their own stations.

I enjoy becoming a programmer with access to Slackers full library, this is why I feel it is so much better than Sirius. I don't have limited playlist on my stations and I don't have to hear the same songs over and over unless I want too. I also don't have to hear artist I don't like! No ability to do that with sat radio.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy my time listening to sat radio, but it makes me really appreciate the time and effort I put into my own Slacker stations.

Thats cool. You know I was just kidding (JK)? I think slacker has the advantage of introducing deep selection than sirius. I just didnt enjoy all the unfamiliar songs.

Plus I am really digging the higher stream. I notice I dont have to turn the volume up on my imac as much as i used to.

Oh Yeah, I knew you were kidding!

If you were getting way to many unfamiliar songs it is all in the tweaking. This is why Slacker works so well because it can handle either those that like more hits based, current hits, classics and/or even those with a very eclectic taste in music. I think the common mistake that most that don't care for Slacker make is just not taking advantage of the ability to customize it.

The higher bitrate streaming is the only way to go with Sirius. It actually sounds better than the sats. If just the playlist wasn't so limited and predictable on all channels!
