Congratulations, and the best of luck to you, BMF!
Congratulations and good luck!
Stay safe, Captain BMF!!
Mr. El Capitan. I am proud of you today for the first time in my life.
I'm gonna buy you a beer the next time I see you. In uniform. And I will be happy to call you a friend.
Looking forward to it.
I really was proud of you all of my life or,,,, well........since that infamous night at Woodrow's.
Is still owe you a beer. And it will be served. You and Taylor both have a beer on me.
Bring a couple midgets too.
I kinda like paging Nurse Badmotherfarker, paging Nurse Badmotherfarker. :jj:
As a doctor, I'm a big fan of paging nurses myself.
Wait... my mom is a nurse... ewwe. Well, there goes 1 more fantasy.
Congratulations! Since I'm not familiar with the Army's biochemistry jobs, what kinds of things will you work on? Will you have direct reports since you are a captain?
They don't let you know much about what you work on until you get there. My first post however is likely Ft. Detrick in Maryland. They do research on some pretty interesting stuff, including anthrax, small pox, ebola, etc.
Possibly... that's my first choice. All I know right now is that I'm classified 71B (biochemist) and am to report to Ft. Sam Houston for OBLC in January. I should get my first duty station here in the next week or so.
good luck and :salute smiley: for serving the country...
When the whore ends up being a man: Then he snaps a picture of her:
I swear in on Wednesday at Ft. Vancouver in Vancouver, WA. Then, it's off to Ft. Lewis to pick up my uniform.
FT. Vancouver (1845):
I hope they updated it since that picture. Otherwise you may be a bit cold.
Actually, no. It's an historic fort. It's been preserved (well, rebuilt after fires in some occasions) since the 1800's.
