In March of this year I purchased a Scion xB from a lady which had bought it for her grandson. Well not to rehash that story, but from the day I bought this vehicle and put it on the road I have loved it. Anyway, I was driving through Hammond, La on Monday and by chance found another Scion xB that was for sale on a lot. It was a one owner only had 20,000 miles on it and after haggling with them got them down to 11 grand for it. I currently have an old Ford mini-van and it has been long over due for a replacement. So, I went to JP Morgan Chase and had got a cashiers check and purchased this Scion xB. I have to say I had been looking at the 2008/2009 models which are very nice too, but I just love the 2004-2006 models better. This one like my personal one is actually a 2006.5 model as they didn't make a new model in 2007 because they were doing the redesign for the 2008 model year.

These are the absolute funniest cars I have ever had the pleasure of driving. We have a Scikotics Club locally where a bunch of us meet regularly. We do car shows, take cruises together. Again so, so much fun!

Here is my new company vehicle:

Here is a picture of my personal one. I have done a lot of customizing on this one and have been in a few car shows. It is so much fun.

Yeah, my son bought me a sticker which I recently put on mine and it says. Hey... You've Just Been Passed By A Toaster.... :)

DAB, I am currently driving a 96 Corolla. Can you get me a Scion?

Please? ;)

LOL! I thought Taylor bought all admins new Scion's. ;)

Great price on that first gen toaster! I'm still loving my 2nd gen every day.

Yeah, If I had not found a low mileage 1st gen it is highly likely I would have gotten a 2nd gen for sure. I knew I was staying with a Scion. I had been monitoring Cars.com and all the ones that were available within a 200 range had like 60,000 plus miles and they wanted 14 or 15 grand for them. So for me stumbling onto this one with 20,000 and talking them down to 11 grand I felt was enough for me to pull the trigger. Whoever had it took good care of it because it is just like brand new.

Did it come with satellite radio?...:)

No, unlike mine it didn't have the dealer installed optional sat radio. But now if you asked me does it now have sat radio, I can tell you YES it does. I actually used my xB as a guide to do a really clean install for my Delphi XpressRC.

Hey you know what they say "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder"

I love Scion xB's. Clearly you've never driven one because they are a lot of fun!

I just drive it, I am not married to it, don't plan to have kids with it, but if it gets me off I don't mind at all. hehehe

Okay here is my Sat Radio XpressRC setup. The wires are virtually not visble. One place in the rear where it goes down into the side panel and where it actually connects to the radio, but its about 2 inches, but you only see about 1 inch of it visible. Sorry the pictures are not better. I just sort of took these real quick. Maybe I'll do some better one later.

Here is the antenna in the exact place as the factory one on my car. (Darn dust on my ride already) Geez! LOL

Sorry this picture is blurry, but you can see where the wire comes down.

Here is a wide shot of the dash with the XpressRC.

Here is a bit of a close up. Yeah I need to wipe the display down!

It is in a perfect location, the screen automatically dims down at night and you couldn't ask for a cleaner install. The power is all done under the dash totally out of sight. Connected to an aux-input so the sound is great.
