Who is worthy of filling David's shoes? I'm not saying that "anyone" could possibly fill his shoes but, someone is gonna have to try. I sure don't envy that person whoever it is, i'm sure that Sirius will make a good choice and i also hope that Bags has a say in who he wants to be his co-host. DISCUSS

I hope it's not a certain female. Not to put someone down, but everybody has an opinion, right?

i'll put her down..no Claire B Lang

it's bad enough she has her own show...she best not take the late David Poole's spot

Forsure not Clair B Lang, we have to turn it off everytime she comes on...

Nate would be cool though... No one will ever come close to filling Poole's shoes but I think Nate would be close..

Filling David's shoes ain't gonna happen....but, I think Marty Smith would be someone interesting.

That's why I went to crew chief route. No one can fill Poole's shoes, but you're right. Marty Smith would be good. He did work with Jimmie Johnson on his radio show on XM...:right:

I'd be for Nate Ryan, Monte Dutton or Mike Mulhern. But if they go the sportswriter route, it might be difficult for them to find someone that will be able to devote 5 days a week, week after week. Could end up being a rotating situation. That's where you have to admire someone like Poole....that he was able to commit 5 days a week, week after week, plus do his newspaper writing duties. I remember him saying when this all started in 2007 that he didn't know if he would be able to handle doing both....but he figured if he could make it through the 600 that year without any problems that he'd be fine.

I would like to hear a number of rotating co-hosts, like the mid-day show used to do. Even if it were just journalists, instead of drivers or analysts, that would be fine with me.
