So I was recently gifted an iPod Touch and it's a pretty cool gadget. I downloaded the Slacker app and it actually works just like the Slacker Portables do, eliminating the need to even both buying a G1 or G2. Of course, it also has Pandora and I'm waiting patiently for the StarPlayr so I can stream Sirius on it.

I wish it was easier to stream Sirius on the touch without needing to add multiple programs like orb.

but you need wifi for the itouch to play slacker content, with the g1&2 you get to take the stations with you.

if the itouch had station storage it would be perfect! unfortunately only blackberry users get that feature for some strange reason...:bigcry:

I agree in regards to the iPod Touch it is great for many reasons and the Slacker and Pandora Apps work GREAT, but no wifi and no music, except for whatever you have stored on the device for yourself. But like Xan said with the G1 or G2 that is no problem so I don't see this as a replacement for the G2 at least not if you listen to music away from wifi access.

Amazingly enough, slacker and pandora are still listenable on 3G. So if you have the phone and don't have Wifi (if you are in the car or something) that's the next best thing. It's actually worked quite well in my case.
