I have owned the Stiletto 100 for about a year or so now. I have been connecting at home via my wireless router. The wireless router was unsecured and the Stiletto worked fine. I finally got around to securing the network. I used 64 bit. I created the 10 digit "passkey" string and the computer works perfectly on the secured network.
However, my Stiletto no longer works on the secured network. I have added the MAC address to the security setup of the router and I am entering the correct "passkey" each time. I have tried using the standard keyboard option and the hex keyboard option. I know it's not that I am entering the passkey incorrectly as it is a very simple passkey and I have double & triple checked it. I am entering it correctly.

I am using a Belkin 54g wireless router.

ANy help would be appreciated as my satellite signal is pretty weak at home and I generally use the internet to listen everyday.

FIXED! If you own a Stiletto and you can't connect to secured WiFi, read this

Well, I finally figured out how to connect to my now secured WiFi connection. If you own a Stiletto and you are having trouble, please read this.

I called Belkin and Sirius. Both were absolutely no help. Belkin said to call Sirius and Sirius said to call Belkin. Anyway, I had the encryption set to WEP 64 bit (for some reason, the Belkin rep recommended using 64 bit encryption for home routers when I was setting up the security system--I don't know why.) It seems as though the Stiletto line of devices will not work on a 64 bit encryption. I changed the encryption on the router security to WEP 128 bit, entered the passkey into the Stiletto and presto, it works.

Cool that you got it figured out. WEP for the most part has been depreciated. If your devices that your connecting via wifi can support it you should seriously consider using WPA as an alternative. Plus it allows you to use a decent "password" to gain access instead of having to remember some long obscure 26 character hex code that is a PITA to enter using devices like stiletto, psp, and others without a keyboard.
