I been having quite a few problems with Sprint and my old Samsung Instinct lately and since I been gone from DRC for a while, a few weeks ago I dumped Sprint and came over to AT&T and bought the iPhone 3G. I love my new phone so far, I have bought and downloaded several apps which have came in handy so far for me. So much easier to read maps and surf on the net. I have notice quite a few of my co-workers are a bit jealous of my new phone. I mainly play games and be able to look stuff up faster on my iPhone vs there everyday phones. I have visited DRC on my new phone but haven't posted yet. Also so far I enjoy the new app addition the Sirius XM app. I don't get a signal at work on my Stiletto 2, but now I am able to listen to the Sirius channels all day. Just wish they would add Howard Stern. But so far no really no complaints yet.

Welcome to the dark side. :D

I'm actually on mine now. Much easier with copy and paste, and the landscape email and text is nice to have.

word of advice- say no to iphone on att. say yes to iphone on tmobile. they DO support the iphone as just a smartphone. i have been streaming with it in the car with edge (it's good enough to stream with) and i don't have to pay some insane $30 fees per month for usage on the 3g network.

as soon as my prepaid plan with tmobile runs out, i'm going to convert it to the smartphone plan which is what i am going to use it for. i have another phone to talk on, this i just want internet connections.

Congrats Wolf! You bought the 3G for $99?

No I bought the iPhone 3G 16GB for $299 in mid May, I didn't know they were coming out with a new iPhone. If I did then I would have held off.

Uh.. the 3G was on available in an 8gb and 16gb. The 3Gs is the only iPhone model available in a 32gb (it was the main reason I've been waiting was for the higher capacity).

I am enjoying mine for sure!

T-mobile doesn't have very good coverage, so there is no point in getting an iPhone if you can't use it. If you live in a big city or just drive interstates you'd be okay, but once you get out of the city and interstate, you are roaming on AT&T or Centennial in my area with T-Mobile. In fact you can't even get T-Mobile in my area because it isn't available. No towers whatsoever!

T-Mobile sucks in this area and their customer service reps are clueless. AT&T is about the best experience I've had up to this point. Customer service and reception wise. And that's after using Verizon, T-Mobile and Sprint.
