I never liked his show, he is so arrogant and cocky. The one time I gave the show a chance he was threatening to beat somebody up... he's bigger than Artie, what's he really going to do? Fall on them? And after Sirius revived his career he has to moan and complaint on the air daily? If anybody else feels the way I do, there is an alternative to this bloated over-the-top POS...

Jason Ellis on 28 faction. He comes on from 3pm - 7pm eastern. His show is spontaneous and changes on the fly. They have certain segments that they do every now and then, but old segments get dropped and new ones get put in, its very refreshing. Best part of Ellis's show is that since it is on a music channel, their breaks have no commercials, just music. And Ellis plays anything from Eminem to AC/DC and even punk bands. Very entertaining, makes the last few hours of work and drive home more enjoyable.

Bottom line....Ellis > Bubba, give it a chance, especially a Friday show.

Is Ellis that Aussie skateboarder guy?...:right:

I heard him once on The Frank DeCaro show talking about Pink putting her boobs on the back of his neck...

Bubba's not for everyone, but I do think he's a draw for some people to satellite radio. I think it would be a bad idea for Sirius to let him go...:(

Please do check Ellis out and let me know how you like him...

Yea he's that lovable Aussie.... I think he's more for a younger crowd (I'm 23) so maybe that is why I enjoy his show so much, but the show seems so real and thrown together, I like it.

I'm only a year older than Ellis...

I'm going back to the convalescent home now. Talk to you later...:)

As a fellow Bubba fan, my 3-7pm listening hours are typically filled up during his show.... Ellis was on Bubba's show a few times before they got into a pissing match with each other, and didn't seem all that bad then. Maybe one of these Friday afternoons, or while just about all of 100/101 are on vacation I will have to check his show out.

while I've never spent any large amount of time listening to Ellis, the few times I have he is usually super arrogant and cocky. I will be honest and say that I really don't listen to the show, though. Some of the music on Faction annoys me too much. But some of the music is great.

I'll give it a try.

My brother has told me to give Ellis' show a shot. He says it's great.

I'll have to try to listen.

Now, if I can get him to listen to Bubba.

I dont think ellis would be my cup of tea, but what other talk shows do you guys recommend. I find myself listening to CNN a lot when the shows on H100/101 are re-runs.

Sweet, a few people are going to check out the Ellis show, awesome! Please post replies as to how you think it was if you guys tune in next week.

As for a morning show, I got suggestions from the other thread I started about Howie getting boring, somebody said to check out Me & Vinnie with Vinnie Politan on channel 108 from 6am - 9am eastern. I will probably catch the last hour of his show and see how it goes. Since I start work at 8am.

Bubba mark here, too - started listening when I did a short stint in Tampa and was Howard-less in the AM. At first I didn't like the guy, but I gave him a chance and saw more than your average crapfest that makes up a lot of morning shows. Glad he's on Sirius, and hope he sticks around.

Isn't there a forum for discussing other talent without the need to take a shit on Bubba to do it?
