I thought it very interesting when Speech Impediment Guy asked Howard about what ever became of his Fartman project. Howard usually deflects these questions with something about the writing not being quite right. Today he said flat out that although he had a script written by a name guy, he was not so sure about spending $50,000,000 to make what might be no more than a "cult movie". That's pretty honest. Now what about Howard Stern the High School Years?

Howard Stern the High School years would have cost too much to draw, and Howard didn't like the look of the computer animation

I think one of the real answers that Howard didn't give was that the idea for "Fartman" was not his idea, it belonged to the National Lampoon.

Track 4
[ame=http://www.amazon.com/White-Album-National-Lampoon/dp/B0001BKB1Q]Amazon.com: White Album: National Lampoon: Music[/ame]

Howard even used to use the same music from the record. Pretty brazen. This album came out a good decade before Howard "made it his own" for a movie idea that would mysteriously never be made.

Wow! That is something. Sounds like he really went off and did a lot more with it, though....he would probably be pissed that he took so little from it but probably had to give them most of the credit/dough.

Were you able to hear the whole track or just the ten seconds that Amazon provides? Again, if I knew what the eff I was doing I would post it on Youtube.

The previews are 30 seconds on Amazon and the track was only 1 minute 2 seconds. I heard the music opening but from what I heard of the bit, but I figured I got the jist of where it was going....he doesn't call terrorists and demand for them to let hostages go, does he?

Wasn't it originally supposed to be on Spike TV?

Why not just put it on HowardTV? Who cares how bad it is? Any channel that can show SuperTwink is probably good enough for HS Years.
