Settle down Skippy. If you have a problem with "personal attacks", flag down a mod. That's a hell of a better response than sidetracking the brilliant level of conversation going on in here (or repeatedly trying to delete my rep points when you have no power to do so).

"Side-tracking", you mean like posting giant JPGs that insinuate that other posters are cry-babies (or worse)? Then saying things like, "Whiny little babies need knee protection too?" What did that have to do with the topic of the thread? You may not like the topic, but there's nothing in the rules that says you can't make posts critical of the show. There is a rule about personal attacks. So it seems the only ones out of line in this thread are you and bark.

I interpret that to mean, "You're right - I was out of line. I can't defend my behavoir with words, so here's an emoticon".

I'm sorry, but to continue this argument, which you seem quite intent on doing; complete with acusatory and escalating language which may lead to personal attacks, would be in violation of the policies of this board. You are more than welcome to keep posting your strum and drang, but I will no longer be a participant in this highly flammable and considerably off-topic thread. Have fun arguing with yourself. :hw:

No, it just seems that you and bark are rarely critical of the show, while HTDD and DLM are exclusively critical. I find it ironic that either would attack the other given that you both commit variations of the same sin.

And what about the personal attacks? Cry-babies, needing need-pads, etc.? And given your recent PM, who's the crybaby? Shall I forward that to the mods?

I am critical sometimes, so I don't have a problem with people being critical of the show. What does bother the hell out of me is subjecting yourself to voluntary misery and then whining about it.

If you want to be a NARC, go right ahead. I won't stop you. I don't know what you're talking about with the PM, so I'll assume you're talking to Jgatie on that one.

I just want to be very clear on this point: I did not call anyone a crybaby. I have only implied that some of them may be homosexual and said that one of them is a thief (which he himself admitted to, which got him kicked off the old board, and now he just implies the fact). Please don't misquote me when you report me.

The PM thing was indeed from JGatie. I'm not reporting you. As for narcing, JGatie told me to. I'm only following his instructions.

I will cop to the crybaby thing. We were discussing kneepads and I posted one of the many uses for them (i.e. to protect the legs of crawling babies, who might otherwise get scrapes which cause them to whine and cry). Hence the suggestion that whiny crybabies get kneepads, as pictured by the visual aid.

Any other interpretation, I have no explanation for at this time, except this: Imagination is a dangerous thing.

Too late - you've already violated them and you know you have, hence the backpeddling. But I agree; no need to continue. I've taken your advice on all issues.

Howard probably can't grasp the concept of a person being generous to his workers, as most of the Stern staff lives in poverty, having to rely on outside gigs and show prize money to pay their bills. Pretty pathetic for the "Number 1" radio show of all time.

He also most likely can't imagine anyone having the ability to turn down money. That thought has never made it past his wig.

The reason he dislikes Jay so much is because he's jealous of him. Jay thrives quite well without Howard, doing something Howard himself failed at, a talk show. He took John, who is doing much better since leaving the Stern show. Jay also works quite hard, despite not having to, another concept lost on Howard. Leno stays up late with writers to make his show better each year, not worse like Howard's.

The result? Despite badmouthing NBC for the last year or so, Jay is offered a new show, more money, and probably many perks. Howard? Losing listeners by the day, and bankrupting the company he works for.

While Jay uses his spare time to work on the many cars Howard mocks him for having ......Howard is on the therapist's couch.

Jay is the Gallant to Howard's Goofus.

I know people give you a lot of shit for your posts on here. I think your dead on with this one. I just hope people actually read it before the blast you as usual.

I think the more inane comments I post in any and every thread on this board, the higher my rep power goes, and then I can fight off all the people giving me negative rep points.

Is Jay really content though? His car collection seems to indicate that he's still looking for something to fill the void in his life.

Jay buys cars and Howard buys a huge house in the Hamptons. To each their own. You can say the same thing about Howard. Does he really need a house that big and that exspensive?? Is he trying to fill a void?? I don't think that with either of them. Everyone is different. Jay likes cars and Howard likes exspensive houses and apartments. Like I said to each their own.

I do say that about Howard! :D IMHO, you have to be a little f'd up to want to be famous.

I say Jay is also filling a void in his life. Meaning . . . Have you ever seen Mavis? :bigahh:

Man, if I was married to that, I spend more time doing stand up and playing with my vehicles than I did at home, too. He actually could have done better by sticking with Sandra Bernhardt.
