This time he says that a black guy told him the line. As I mentioned before, this was a line I first heard used by Adam Carolla during a news segment from his KLSX show nearly a year ago. The line created some buzz on Adam's message board and then it was adopted by other radio personalities as an ad-lib or news story on its own.

While it might be true that Howard did hear it from a "black dude" at some point in time fairly recently, it's all the more likely that he has conveniently forgotten where he heard the line originally.

No great shakes, just trying to keep things on the honest track. This kind of thing tends to get under my skin, especially coming from the man that constantly bickers that the rest of the world has ripped or is ripping him off.

Howard has a bad memory! It's possible he heard it from a black guy (although that doesn't make much sense). The line did come up in context of the news.

You're beating this dead horse like it owes you money...

:Smiley_wink:

Yeah, I know, it's just that these things find their way under my skin for some reason. I hate seeing someone "getting away" with it. I have to call BS when I see or hear it...however trivial the matter. I like the proper credit to be given once used and likewise anything that resembles spin, especially coming from Howard, just rubs me raw.

Eh...whaddareyagonnado? As Gary says, "It is what it is".

Hate to burst your bubble, but Bob Levy wrote Blackie-O first. Between Adam and Dave Chapelle, Bob is getting ripped off right and left. ;) :D
