Many of us first received Sirius or XM as a gift for Christmas, and are now celebrating a milestone in our length of time as a subscriber -- 5 years for me!

Regardless of the time of year you first subscribed, I'm looking for a roll call of how long you've been a subscriber...

Current subscribers, How long have you had satellite radio?

My wife bolwled me over with an SL10 on 12-25-2007. Signed up for a year then took the plunge with the purchase of a SL100 and a lifetime sub. The quick mathematics is 400 divided by 13 equals 31 (rounding up). So I'll be listening for free after July 2012.

Summer of 03-XM

Switched to Sirius in 2005 when XM killed XMLM. Switched back a year later. Missed O & A too much.

Now have XM w/BOS.

October 2002 for both Sirius and XM. Now only have XM as I canceled the Sirius Stelleto setup when the services merged.

I purchased an XM setup first, then returned it. Got a Sirius setup only because it was cheaper, then decided I wanted both.

If you ask me the early days were the fun days!
