I have 7 months left on my yearly sub for Sirius Everything.

I would like Best Of XM for 1 day: Game 7 of the Stanley Cup finals.

If I call to add it, will they want to charge me for 7 months up front?
Can I ask for only 1 month of BOXM?
If I cancel after 1 day will my monthly charge be prorated and refunded?
Will they try to charge me the BS $15 activation fee?

Thanks.

I found their terms and conditions for BOXM, and it states that a $15 activation fee is required. I'm not going to chance it. Even if I call and they waive the fee, who wants to bet that it will show up on my credit card anyway? Not worth the hassle.

I'll find an internet stream instead.

If you're planning to listen from home, just sign up for the free trial (assuming hockey is played online).

Slightly OT, but one wonders if they'll be the next ones with an iPhone app like MLB.

I could see it. For the most part, I think the NHL leads all sports in being the most tech-savvy with their offerings.
