I think it's a good rule.

The part I don't understand is if you can't go below the line to improve your position during the race, why then can you duck below when qualifying?
Montoya did just that when he won the pole.
As much as it probably didn't do all that much to make him faster, it's still a shorter way around and therefore would improve his position.

That's a heckuva finish...:shock:

Jeff went out early, but I picked Jr.'s finish correctly. Also great to see Brad win, even though it's more controversial than Vicker's finish a few years ago...

The yellow line rule is fine, but Carl's car got way too much air. So NASCAR needs to look at this race and see what they can do better next time.

DW said yesterday that if you can't go below the yellow line during the race, you shouldn't be able to go below during qualifying....I agree.

I have a feeling come Daytona in July, they won't let them qualifying below the yellow.
