I actually like the original better. I wish they would work the original back into the rotation again.

I agree. When I first heard the remake I expected them to hate it and I couldn't believe how much they loved it.

best line ever:

"my hands, the smell 'a ham..."

and it was great when he won a jetski and the guy can't even walk

If I remember correctly Robin didn't really care for it originally. I think that Jackie and Howard were busting a gut on that one originally.

Man, I'd love to hear that one again.

Anyone who can work "subconsciously reenact my abuse" into a song is a lyrical genius.

Ham Hands rocks. I didn't hear much of today's show and sadly my Stiletto got really screwed up (it got stuck on the Seth Rogan interview and never started again or something) but I think I heard that they still have to think about what show's to put on....Ham Hand's down, HH Bill should be up there! Howard and Artie....please spare us...AJ was and still is awful!

I'm talking about the first time they played it, not when they announced him as winner. I heard within the last year or two, so it must exist somewhere. Admittedly I haven't looked for it. I just saw the posting on this thread and thought about how the original never gets played anymore. I always liked how he started off on the original much better.

It should be noted that the original had "three input babe", which is one among a few lines he forgot when he did it again. I like them both but there is something about the original.

Has anyone ever seen his website..It's crazy!

Yes. You can hear him rushing to get in time with the melody of the song, especially on the "reenacts my abuse" line.

Important trivia fact: Ham Hands Bill got himself a clean copy of the Robin's News Theme(not actually called Robin's News Theme) to play over his soliloquy to Robin. I don't how in the hell he got a copy without Howard talking over it, but he did.

I wonder about that, too. Could he have found the original? Remember when they chould not get access to the original news theme and they had to get a similar sounding theme. Then one day they started playing it without telling Robin and Howard said something like "Notice anything". And Robin got all excited! Sadly, though, they don't play her theme enough with all those gross Sal, Richard and Danny the Song Parody Man/A Real Poon Hound's songs.

I was nearly pissing myself when the played 'am 'ands audtion tape for the contest. I'd listen to him for an hour. Althought the Angry Fan guy was good, too. Heck, give them both a show.

Back on the old board I suggested that the Stern Show create a vehicle for Ralph or Sal called, "I Call Bullshit". I wanted it to be a fifteen minute show or segment where the host of the show could go over what happened on the show and talk about the BS from that day's show.

It would be cool to have someone articulate that wouldn't be afraid to ask hard questions and ask for clarification on the shit that gets spewed out each day. I thought it would add a dynamic to the show that is lacking.

I say, give that show to the Angry English fan. I'd love to hear that guy go after the staff of the show, its fans and whomever else trips up the bullshit wire.
