I have to say, this channel is what satellite radio should be about: truly unique programming (granted Elvis isn't "unique" per say but you get what I'm saying). Even though there have been other single artist channels come and go for me this one stands above and beyond them all. The DJ's and just the feel of this channel is great!

So you think satrad should be 69 single artist stations?

It's a waste of bandwidth. Elvis is on the 50's, 60's and 70's channels every hour..

While I generally don't like the single artist channels, if you are going to have one, it might as well be the King of Rock n Roll- Elvis. He has over 1000 songs in his library/playlists- and is appeal is still widespread 31 years after his death. The jocks on this channel are simply super!! Most knew Elvis and were a part of his life and bring more than just the music, they bring the story behind it and the King. There will have been 44 US Presidents, but only one King in this country. :)

Elvis Channel plays alot of Elvis holiday recordings, but doesn't go exclusive with the holiday tunes during the upcoming seasons time .:)

The Elvis channel definitely deserves a "thumbs up". They broadcast directly from the grounds at Graceland, so the thousands of people who visit there every year are exposed to Sirius.

I haven't listened to it in years for an extended period of time but I like that it is there. I think it truly attracts customers and keeps them as well. It should be the only single artist channel

No, playing various Christmas music by Elvis.

I have his "White Christmas" comp which I believe consists of two albums worth of material into one CD. It's great but if they went exclusive with his Christmas stuff it would basically only be playing one Cd and about 24 songs.

I have to say that the Elvis channel is my most listened to channel on all of XM!

I was hoping when the merger happened that XM would get this channel. I can listen to it for hours and I do!

Is this channel permanent? I don't care about the Led Zeppelin channel or the others one band channels, just Elvis! I hope it's permenent.

I enjoy this channel too and Elvis has been on Sirius for 3 or more years now, so I suspect it isn't going anywhere.

This is certainly an original recording, the SQ is terrible. But that goes to show you how far we've come in our ability record live shows.

I am enjoying the broadcast though! Thanks for posting the info as I would have missed it.

So you think satrad should be 69 single artist stations?

You having problems reading these days? I don't think that is what he said at all. I think we already know what the general consensus is on single artist stations, but Elvis is the one exception that is seems like most have no problems with.

Lets face it though, there are some subscribers that do enjoy single artist channels, but more specifically that really enjoy this Elvis channel.
